Interview officials of the Association of Rural Families Aulnois

Lawrence ROSIER, President of the Association of Rural Families Aulnois and Annie DEMAZET , Secretary and Vice-President, are serving this association for over 12 years. Aujours'hui, they present their role in the association and we explain the work involved.

Each year they work in teams with the treasurer Jean-Luc Balin, and with all the volunteers of the association to lead the village. They actively support the Home Entertainment (Operating aid, recruitment, participation in festivals exceptional inventory of local, ...) in collaboration with the Director and Olga Collin Aurélie Peral.
They provide the overall organization of all events offered by the association, which represents a big job.

"After setting the schedule of events throughout the year we organize a meeting before each event with volunteers. Our role is to ensure the smooth running of each event. This implies:

- preparation, distribution, booking sheets in the village and put in envelopes for external
- preparing and distributing meeting notices
- preparing leaflets and their distribution (with the participation of volunteers) in the boxes Aulnois
- the display of billboards in the streets and posters in shops
- advertising in newspapers and on websites
- to be informed of the laws in force, and to provide permissions (Hall: Order of refreshments, road closures, ... Gendarmerie ; Town halls around: Permissions to view ...)
- take hotlines, especially in the evening on weekends at home
- and make sure the various purchases, etc ... "explains Annie

The preparation is obviously different for different events. Those that require the most time and work upstream, of course, the Salon des Artistes and the Model (" where we need particular reap all drawings prepared by school children of Aulnois, and highlight on the panels and grids) and the Flea-Jumble.

Lawrence and Annie back then on the preparation of the Flea. " This involves a lot of hours. Every year I take a week off before the flea " delivers Lawrence.

Annie ensures that each sheet is properly completed booking while trying to meet the diverse and varied annotations of each.
Some examples:
- the same place as last year ("for us to search the archives")
- at this address, or adjacent to such person
- with or without vehicles ...

" We are asked as often mild weather, and this is one of the only things we can not master! It should be noted, moreover, that many exhibitors book their location, but do not pay in advance because if the weather is unfavorable, they do not come. This creates for us a shortfall.

Each year we do our best in order to please everybody, but there are always a few malcontents ...
should know that we spend so much time (4 afternoons on average) to position and number on the plan, each of the films - that is: 220 exhibitors.

marking the day, the day before the flea market, we must observe the entry garages and front doors of the inhabitants of the street from the pool.

Sunday, from 5am, we are here to give the numbers of sites in each of junk, and to resolve any last minute problems (exhibitors who arrive without booking sites that are unsuitable, too short films ...).

Throughout the day we hold the proper course of antiques: silver recovery of exhibitors, held in the central treasury, management of the raffle, the organization of the restoration.

When comes the end of the day, we need tidying up, cleaning, picking and sorting often all that people leave on the sidewalk. Storage always ends the next morning. "

The results of the last flea market is positive, as we have already said in a previous article. "We are pleased . You should know that the money raised at our events get a lot back to Home Entertainment, organization of trips (like this year at the Zoo and Christmas market in Lille on 28 November), renewal of equipment, and school (we have the joy of giving each year a check to the nursery school and a check to the primary school after the fair where the artists all classes participate actively). " we explain and Annie Lawrence.

Finally, a word about the events of 2011:

- The Empty cupboard Jan. 30: Sales of clothing, shoes and accessories and adults

- The Salon des Artistes and the Model March 13: Exhibition of various creations of local artists, drawings made by schoolchildren, and models, with this year's reproduction of the Castle of Harry Potter.

- The 2 Weapons and Militaria Awards April 10 and November 6

- La Fete de la Musique June 21

- The flea market on Oct. 2.

This year's event will see a new day, May 22 Lawrence Rosier Now in the beginning, we said a little more: "It will be a Village Photo. There will be exhibitors at the Town Hall and the Salle Jean-Luc Moutonnet. There will be exhibitors on site in tents. This exhibition will be open to all amateur photographers who wish to exhibit and sell their work, and entry will of course be free for visitors.

photographer Claude Jacquot, who helped organize this event will be present throughout the weekend. There will also probably animations on Saturday. Children are not forgotten and their animation will be offered. We'll talk more soon, because the program is underway "

A big thank you to Annie and Lawrence for their testimony and for their dedication to the association.

Press Release: Wednesday Recreational

UNION newspaper article, published Wednesday, November 3, 2010 at 11:00

Aulnois-sous-Laon A monstrous celebration

These children have celebrated Halloween in joy.

"Aurélie Peral, director of home entertainment for rural families Aulnois-sous-Laon and Simon Marly Bafa facilitator, hosted a party for Halloween. For this animation, it was suggested the children come disguise. The celebration began with a big game inside with several events: sporting career, decorating small pumpkins, peach candy, etc.. She continued and completed by a taste improved with cake, distribution of sweets in a joyous and festive atmosphere.

Except this party on Wednesdays recreation, catering for children aged 4 to 12 from 13 from 30 to 17 h 30 pm, take place throughout the year on the theme "The discovery of the book." In this context, the children went to the library to play Brassens and attend a philosophy workshop on albums they had read. They also participated in the celebration of taste. After viewing the videotape of the little guy history of gingerbread, and enjoyed a taste of gingerbread, they made the book of history. The expected goal by Aurélie is to show children the most books. Every Wednesday, one child chooses a book he knows and wants to discover. Once finished reading, a debate is engaged and the explanations are given for choosing this book. For the season, Aurélie plans to create a puppet show or theater on a story they have chosen. Children interested in these activities can join, Wednesday, November 10, where they participate in a drive-taste or the MAL realize advertising posters for reading. "
